Zinema is my personal project which is application for movie theater that can see all information, booking and buy snack in advance and to reduce time to be in the line. Save time and your energy and enjoy your movie.

  • Users who attend movies with friends, family, or significant others and may use the app to coordinate and book tickets for a group.

Before Start

As the initial design phase continued, I made sure to base screen designs on feedback and findings from the user research.

Low-fidelity prototype

Using the completed set of digital wireframes, I created a low-fidelity prototype. The primary user flow I connected was looking the inforamation and booking a ticket, so the prototype could be used in a usability study.

Design Time

Early designs allowed for some customization, but after the usability studies, I design for more information for users such as the point.Moreover, I increse font size and show more detail on nav bar

What did I Learn?

#Diverse User Needs:
Recognizing that users have diverse needs and preferences when it comes to movie-going experiences. Tailoring features to cater to both avid moviegoers and casual attendees ensures a broad user appeal.

#Tech-Savviness Spectrum:
Understanding that users fall on a spectrum of tech-savviness. Creating an application that is intuitive for both very tech-savvy users like Movie Buff May and moderately tech-savvy users like Casual Moviegoer Chris involves a balance of advanced and straightforward features.

#Personalization Matters:
Acknowledging the importance of personalization in the app, such as personalized dashboards, movie recommendations, and loyalty rewards. Personalization enhances user engagement and encourages repeat usage.

#Efficiency for Avid Moviegoers:
Learning that avid moviegoers like May value efficiency and advanced features such as seat selection, snack pre-ordering, and exclusive promotions. Implementing these features caters to their preferences and encourages app loyalty.

#Simplicity for Casual Moviegoers:
Recognizing that casual moviegoers like Chris appreciate simplicity and convenience. Streamlining the app's interface, simplifying the booking process, and offering occasional perks align with their preferences.
